Technological Setback

Standard

Earlier today I managed to spill a small amount of water in my primary laptop. I got it as dry as I could, but some of it got into the case through the keyboard and at this point it’s siting dormant and trying to dry out on its own. The keyboard is pretty messed up, but that can be bypassed by plugging a wireless keyboard into a USB slot. Problem is, using the wireless keyboard covers the laptop keyboard that I’m trying to dry, so it’s pretty much out of commission for the time being.

Right now I’m using a spare laptop for the most basic things, like blogging and using Firefox, but nothing graphics intensive, which means I’m likely going to be watching movies and reading for the next few days.

Keep your fingers crossed. We don’t have the spare cash to get it repaired, much less replaced.
